After you have identified your phenomena, you have to figure out how you will present it to students — developing the activity itself. The goal of NGSS-aligned Engage activities is to introduce the phenomenon, but there are many ways you can do this. The following discussion is certainly not entirely comprehensive – I’m sure I’m missing some ideas – so I would LOVE for you to share your own Engage activities in our course FB group! That said, I have really tried to find as many different approaches as I could, so I think this list will definitely help you get started.
