Crafting Your Unit Objectives

Let’s begin by stating – your unit objectives are not necessarily going to be your day-to-day lesson objectives.  The unit objectives are the big tasks students will accomplish – typically in the assessment. So while these unit objectives will inform your daily, lesson-level objectives, objectives are going to look different on the day-to-day and be much more specific.  Keep your unit objectives focused on the big ideas, and your lesson-level objectives will cover the specifics.
