BONUS: How I Use The Storyline Mapping Organizer
The very last thing I need to do is actually order the objectives WITHIN my instructional sequences. I will essentially repeat what I’ve just done — taking all of the objectives and identifying connections that help one idea flow into the next — with the smaller set of objectives that make up my first instructional sequence. (See, it helps to have them all together!) You can use the digital resource – the Storyline Mapping Organizer for this process. On this organizer, you will document your ideas for the investigative phenomenon, the big questions and answers students are working towards (aka your objectives), and even some activity ideas.
